The Signature SE range of low voltage switchboard building enclosures has recently successfully been tested at 690V 50kA 50Hz on motor starters, MCCB feeders, ACB incomer and feeder and combined switch fuses. This is commonly a requirement when the switchboard is to be installed in infrastructure, mining and processing applications.
Independent arc fault tests were carried out at Testing and Certification Australia in Sydney on 19th and 20th June in accordance with Australian Standards AS/NZ 3439.1. Annex ZD.
Testing was untaken as a requirement of United Group for the Brisbane North South Bypass tunnel project in conjunction with Ramsay Engineering.
The NSBT is one of the largest infrastructure projects currently being undertaken in Australia and B&R are supplying 28 motor control centres on this project.
