Prototyping Technician - QLD

B&R Enclosures is a leading Australian manufacturer of sheet metal enclosures for the Electrical, Data and Communication Industries.

We are currently seeking an experienced sheet metal tradesperson for the role of Prototyping Technician at our busy Heathwood facility in Brisbane's South West.

The positive will involve:
• Making prototypes & one off specials
• Modifying stocked product for customer orders & other jobs as required
• Raising works & purchase orders for prototype work
• Working with operators, programmers and designers

The successful person will have:
• A sheet metal trade and/or extensive experience in sheet metal
• Good communication skills
• Be able to read drawings
• Ability to work in both office & factory environments
• Own transport
• Have mig and/or tig welding skills

Rate of pay will be above apprenticeship wages, see Kimberley for further information.
